fabricating fabricated Fabricationss.

Welcome to Fabricationss, my space to make things.

I've had a love of stencil making since early 2014 when, inspired by various forms of street art, I started by making paper and cardboard stencils for spray painting. After about a year of experimenting with paint I decided to expand to print and impulsively bought a starter kit online.
Fabricationss is the result of that impulse.
Since then, my love of screen print has lead me to discover the art of lino-cut and stamp making, and I have been including block print patterns to my shop since 2017.

I first started my sop by making stencils and printing different designs for t-shirts I would find while thrift shopping. At first thrifting was just easier/cheaper for experimenting, but I like that thrifted shirts let me play with color, shape, and pattern more than bulk tees do, and I like the sustainability of reusing/recycling clothing.

I do also print on new shirts too. It's often faster for custom orders than searching though thrift stores for just the right thing (although I do love a good hunt as well), and sometimes the occasion just calls for something new.

But I do sell, and mostly focus on the thrifted items, because each one has a different look and feel and inspires a different design. I aim to create unique pieces that allow people to express their sense of self and their sense of style, while also supporting a sustainable vision and thoughtful design.

Feel free to reach out about custom orders! :)
